Reverend Franklin was born on October 31, 1913 to Fredrick and Mary Lillian (McClary) Franklin at his home East of Henryetta, Oklahoma. He went to his heavenly home on February 21, 2013 at Highland Park Manor Nursing Home in Okmul Read Obituary

I heard of dear Brother Franklin's home going just today. I have such fond memories of him and Sister Lucy. While he was my Pastor at Morris Assembly of God, he and Sister Lucy showed me and my daughters what unconditional Love looked like. I count myself blessed to have known such a great man of God! My thoughts and prayers are with Sister Lucy and the whole family.

My condolences to the family. I was at Rev. Franklin's house lots of times when I used to run around with Raymond and Bobby in Okmulgee. This , of course, was many years ago. He was one of ,if not the nicest men I have ever met. He will be missed by family and friends on this earth but I'm sure he has had a grand and great welcoming to Heaven. Brother Franklin made a huge impact on my life. I have never met anyone who lived what they preached more than Brother Franklin. I will never forget the first time I met him, my hair seemed to stand on end because the spirit of God radiated from him so strongly. He will be missed here on earth, but I am sure the angels rejoiced when he finally made it home!

Bro. Franklin had the most precious soul. He was my guiding light from birth to his final breath on this earth. I am truly blessed to have had this wonderful man as my teacher in faith, hope and love. A warrior has gone home. He will be missed by so many.

C.R. Franklin was our pastor at the Weleetka Assembly of God Church when my father got saved . I was rather young when he was our pastor, Raymond and Bobby I remember really well as they would pile song books on me when I would fall asleep in church . My mother and Pearline were very good friends. Brother Franklin has joined the other Angels from the Assembly of God Church of Weleetka. RIP

C.R. Franklin was the kindest, sweetest spirit i've ever known. A very special human being in every way. Never passed judgement on anyone and radiated love all the time. He (and Lucy) genuinely cared about people. Brother Franklin, as most people in church called him, was strong as an ox. i was always amazed how he continued to do so much manual labor late into his life. My dad loved him so much and visited him not long before his own death in August. May they meet "in that bright land where we'll never grow old".
