Norma Ruth Couch, loving wife, mother and nana, passed away Sunday evening, August 4, 2013at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 73 years of age. Norma was born October 9, 1939 in Okmulgee to the late Everett a Read Obituary
Norma was a good and long time friend. We use to have fun working in kindergarten when Dane and Mike were there. Visiting in each other's homes, talking about receipes, PSO meetings etc. Norma, I am going to miss you and Jim, Darren and Dane, God comfort you and be with you.

I was so shocked to see Norma's obituary this morning. I had not heard she was ill. Jim and family, my prayers are with you at this very difficult time. As I read the other comments the one thing that kept coming up was what a true lady she was. When I first met her we were about 15 yrs old and Norma was a "true lady" even then. Spent many hours at her home as a teenager and will never forget her. Our loss is heaven's gain. Love to you all,

Mr. Couch, Darren, Dane, and families, I am so sorry for the lost of your Wife, Friend and Wonderful Mother! Mrs. Couch was the very best of all three! Just being around her made me feel very blessed, with her gentle hugs and warm smiles she could make the worst days go away! My sister Pam wrote that she was "the definition of a true lady and a true Christian" and I couldn't agree more or have said it better! If it was up to me every Dictionary would change their definition of a Christian to read something like: Please see the Life of Mrs. Norma Couch, enough said! I was telling Pam this evening that no matter how I acted out in the world, when I was around Mrs. Couch, I was better! I would lower my tone and be as Respectful as if I was in the presence of the Lord himself. Our prayers are with you! The Skupien's: Frankie, Tricia, Austine, Jaden and Kadence.

There are no words to adequately describe this phenomenal lady! She was always so kind to me, even when I was being annoying. I know it's hard to grasp this Earthly world without her, but Heaven has gained an amazing angel.
