My thoughts & prayers are with you all as you grieve the passing of Mrs Whitson. I grew up and went to school with her son John back in the day when we all attended the Fellowship Baptist Church in Okmulgee. Our families were friends & shared a lot of great memories. I will always remember Mrs Whitson as a woman who loved her Lord, her family and was a lovely lady inside & out. I feel so privileged to have known Mrs. Whitson through my church. She was very special to my son and to me. She lived out a faith-filled life. I saw the way that she trusted God when her daughter was ill and eventually passed away. She was an example of a Godly woman. My son also thought so much of her. She always let me know that she was praying for him and for us and that meant so much to me. We will cherish her in our hearts, mind and sole till it is our time to be reunited with her in heaven. She loved every one and was loved by everyone she encountered. May GOD give each of us have the peace of knowing she is with him and the joy of knowing we will see her again. GOD guide us and direct us in order to do thy will Lord.
