Minnie was a great classmate and basketball player at MHS. I had not seen her since we graduated together but always remembered her fondly. My condolences to her family and close friends

Minnie and I would always chuckle when we seen each other because I hired Minnie for her first job with the Creek Nation. She had applied for a secretarial position and on her app she stated she had taken typing in high school. I gave Minnie her first assignment and waited and waited for her to complete it. Time passed and I checked on her only to find her whiting out mistakes she had made in the letter. There were several errors so I ask about her HS classes and she told me she hadn’t been very good at it. I proceeded to give her private lessons, but she never really became a good typist. This is my favorite memory of her. I’m so glad that I got to visit with her a lot since I moved back to the Okmulgee area. Guys and girls your mom was a warm caring person that loved visiting with people as I’ve always enjoyed our friendship through the years.
