Happy Birthday 91st Birthday Papa love and miss you. You meant the world to me i hope you knew that. Brison said one day grandpa was a great man and everyone deserves a second change can`t we ask god to give him a second change. I tried to explain to him that when you had you open heart surgery that was god giving you a second change but he said No i want my papa back he was my best friend and i miss him so much i hope he knew that i loved him to the moon and back and with Infinity and beyond. Brooklyn wants to eat birthday cake for you she says she will never forget the book puppy puppy please cause she loved reading it to you. We love and miss you papa. I wish i could hear you tell me a joke. I missed them so much. Hugs and Kisses We love you.

So sorry to hear of Marvin's passing. I know he will be greatly missed by his family and many, many friends. I've thought of the birthday poem he always quoted and know he is enjoying his birthday in Heaven!

I saw in the Tulsa paper where Marvin had passed away. Please know that I am grieved by this and offer my condolences to the family. I have some very old and early rememberances of Marvin. In about 1950 I was a young elementary student at Wilson Elementary in Okmulgee. My memories are of Marvin working diligently as the school's janitor. He worked very hard and I vividly remember him, being quite tall and thin, pushing a very long 6 foot or so treated rag mop across the gym floor or down the halls after school was dismissed. I was intrigued by this and for some reason was very impressed!! I also remember when he had an apparent heart attack and left as the janitor to become a barber. Seems that his father-in-law took over the job. What wonderful and vivid memories for me about 65 years ago of a man doing a good job at Wilson Elementary in Okmulgee!!
