Janice Kay Thomas' Obituary
Janice Kay Thomas, 74, a longtime resident of Okmulgee died in St. Cloud, Florida on October 5, 2012. She was born in Okmulgee on November 2, 1937 to Howard and Wanda (Butte) Gringrich. Kay worked as a Sales Associate at Wal-Mart in Okmulgee and then in Florida. Her parents, husband Ray Thomas, a brother Lloyd Gingrich and a grandson Tony Nolen Thomas preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter; Connie and husband Michael Warden of Broken Arrow, OK, four sons; Kenneth Kepley Jr. of Tulsa, Steve and wife Shawna Thomas of Okmulgee, Ok, Michael and wife Theresa Thomas of Owasso, OK and Tony and wife Dee Thomas of Salina, OK, eight grandchildren, Stephanie Thomas Wilson, Steven Thomas, Courtney Loy, Zachary Thomas, Cydney Truong, Sara Clare, Brock Thomas and Brynn Thomas and three great grandchildren, Kylie Truong, Aaron Wilson and Kolton Mayes.
A celebration of Kay’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 11:00 am at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Thorman officiating. Condolences may be made at mcclendon-winters.com.
