I had the opportunity to work with Kay for a long time at the hospital in Okmulgee. Kay was one of the funnest and sincere ladies I have known. We had many a late night chats about the world in general. She loved her career in providing patent care and did a great job at it. I have thought for days on how I could describe Kay if I had to describe her to someone who didn't know her. I have finally decided that she was just one of those people that can't be defined with simple words. Maybe it is because I met her so young that she always seemed bigger than life to me. I came to admire her for doing things her way, she definitely lived life that way and did it with gusto, a "go big or go home" kind of gal. I haven't seen Kay for many years but have thought of her often and wondered what kind of stuff she was mixin up in Florida. My thoughts and prayers have been with all of you kids since I heard of her illness. Connie, we have known each other more years than I care to remember on some days, and you especially are on my mind lately, a Mother/daughter bond is strong and I am so sorry for your loss. It's not something that any of us want to go through and if I can do anything to make this easier for you, please don't hesitate to call me.

Strong prayers and thoughts for the family of Kay. I prayed for you everyday and kept the memories of the good times we shared on Earth. I'll never forget the many hours we spent together at Creek Nation Bingo. Kay you kept me laughing and always had a smile on your face. Especially the time you and another person got into a debate over paper clips being on the table. How I miss the times back then with me, you and Connie.
