Jane was my sister-in-law for many years when we were married to brothers. I still think of her as my sister-in-law and my children still refer to her as "Aunt Jane." She was often the quiet one at family gatherings but she didn't need to say much to know her children adored her and were never far from her side. When they needed 'correcting' she did it with a sweet, firm voice and Greg, Paula, and Steph knew she meant business. I never got the hang of that and always ended up yelling orders at my children, all the time wondering how Jane did it. I suspect she controlled her classroom in much the same way, being gently firm but always loving. She had a killer smile - her whole face lit up and laughter was never far behind, I love that she was a QVC junkie like me. To look at her one wouldn't think she was very strong - she was petite - but she faced more dark times than she deserved with hidden strength and grit and moved on. I will remember her quiet grace, her kindness, and her tremendous love for her family. Rest in peace in our Father's loving arms, dear Jane.
With heartfelt sympathy,
