I AM SO SORRY THAT I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND MY DEAR FRIEND'S FUNERAL AS I AM UNDER THE WEATHER. JAN AND I HAVE BEEN FRIENDS SINCE JR. HIGH WHEN SHE STEPPED IN BETWEEN A BULLY WHO WAS GOING TO WHIP ME, SHE BRAVELY LOOKED THE GIRL IN THE EYE AND TOLD HER SHE WOULD HAVE TO WHIP HER FIRST. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THE GIRL BACKED OFF RAPIDLY AND JAN AND I BONDED. WE LOST EACH OTHER FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS UNTIL I MOVED TO OKMULGEE IN THE SIXTIES AND WENT TO WORK FOR THE BANK. SHE CAME TO MY WINDOW AND IT WAS INSTANT RECOGNITION FOR BOTH OF US.....A HAPPY REUNION FOLLOWED. ANOTHER HAPPY REUNION IS IN STORE FOR ALL WHO KNOW HER BEST FRIEND. Mama Jan as Brian and I knew her was one of the most generous people. Of all of my family and friends, she was the only one who showed her compassion and caring when my son, Kelly passed away at the age of 32. My husband Brian grew up in the church that Mom and Paul pastored. She told me once that she was glad that Brian married someone she could get along with. We had a good laugh and she gave me a big hug and told me she loved me. Of course I loved her back. I was also witness to her kindness to others, sometimes complete strangers. From the very bottom of our hearts, Brian and I send our deepest condolences to her beloved family. She loved each and every one of you. The last time we were able to see her before she went home to be with the Lord, she told us how very much she loved Paul. It was her greatest desire that everyone of you come to know the Lord. Love and hugs to all of you. May the Lord wrap his arms around each of you and bring you His Peace.

Oh how we love and miss you so much!! You were a mom to me and always there for me and my family, Niki, Bradyn, and Brynlee. The kids miss their nanny, Niki misses her mom!! We know that you are in heaven with your loved ones, pain free, able to walk (no wheelchair), and rejoicing with our lord and savior.
