George was an instructor of mine when I attend tech. We had a bond of both growing up in the Oklahoma panhandle. I was from Laverne and he was born in Rosston. He also went into the military with my father in law. He was a great man and role model for his students. He will be missed. Prayers for his family. Rick Sage

George was one of the great group of men that were teaching at OSU-Okmulgee when I began teaching in the Diesel Department. Although we only worked together a little over a year, I have talked with many students he influenced, He was loved and respected for the knowledge he had and how he passed that knowledge on to the next generation of diesel mechanics.
The world lost a truly great teacher, mentor and friend. George was one of my first teachers at OSU and later on a mentor when i started working there.
