I miss him so much we got very close when I was in second grade that was five years ago he was so calm all the time and gentle R.I.P papa
I first met Ed at Sequoyah Grade School around 1953. It was clear he was destined to lead; his stature set him out front and his keen competive initiative combined with poise and common sense made his team the one to join in class or on the playground. I admired Ed all the way through high school. As our lives took separate tracks, periodic class reinions confirmed Ed was continuing to lead in the Way of God. Privileged to know him.
On behalf of the Tahlequah High School Class of 1963, I would like to repeat what one classmate said to summarize what we thought of Ed. He said "Big Ed was one of our best." How true. Ed was well liked. Several of us met Ed and Carolyn in Muskogee on
November 30. We had a great visit and appreciated the opportunity to see both of them. He was tired but tried not to show it. It was the last time we saw him. However, one day we will see him again. Our love to Carolyn, Keith, Michelle and other family members. Sue Berry.
Carolyn, Michelle, and Keith...so very sorry to hear of the passing of Ed. I remember him to be such a kind and caring man. He helped raise wonderful children and I know that his whole family will miss him terribly. Please keep those sweet memories close to your heart forever as I know you will. May he RIP as he is whole and healthy once again.

Ed was such a sweet man and always had a smile for you. He was always the same when you would see him. He was an amazing husband, dad, granddad, and great grandad! My thoughts and prayers are with Carolyn, kids and grandkids. He will be missed by family and his many friends!
