Uncle Doyal,
We have a photo of you in your US Army uniform in our "Hall of Fame" and want to thanks you for your service to America.
I remember Glendell taking me to the rodeo and seeing you as a clown. WOW, not many would have the guts to do that.
Glendell remembers when you put a saddle on your back at Ma Thurmans, and you would try to buck him off. And you would manage to throw him off.
We remember the good ole camping days. When some folks kept you awake all night with their loud music, you let them listen to it while they finally tried to sleep during the day.
And the cord that was cut belonged to Bill.
We also remember you and Aunt Jean going fishing and checking your lines one morning. Your got the jug and the "biggest fish ever" pulled you and Aunt Jean down the lake - until you were finally able to get loose from it. You were a fisherman!!!!!!!
We remember you always fought for what you believed in and also fought for other's rights. . . and WON.
I remember when I was one of your secretaries and typed your "letters to the editor", among other letters.
We remember when it was time for politics. You worked hard for who you believed in and, we listened to your reasons for voting for them.
We remember when you always had a trick for the children you met. Natalie loved your tricks. You were a very witty man, the world needs for like you.
Uncle Doyal, we could go on and on, but this note would go on forever. You were a good man.
WE remember when you gave your life to Jesus and was baptized the following Sunday. Glory to God!
We love you and will miss the colorful character you were in our family. Can't wait to see you in Glory!
