I was honored to be Forrest and Delores' pastor for four years at In-Faith Baptist Church.
It didn't take long for me to be thoroughly impressed with this couple. I never found anything they couldn't do. God definitely brought them together as a team because they complemented one another, and in turn, blessed the congregations they served.
Delores had so many talents it is impossible to go into detail about every one of them, but she used them for the glory of God.
When Forrest called me Tuesday evening to tell me of her passing, my first thought was, "God, you're really going to love having her in Heaven!" Immediately, I followed that with, "God , you already loved her by placing her here on Earth for us!"
