Grandpa, there are things that I will always remember. Though I didnt know you as long as some I still felt the love that you shared with me. The laughs, and the few good times I was able to share with you will forever be locked away in my heart until the day that I join you and we can make more wonderful memories. And I will always remember the water balloon We will all love and miss you alot love you and see you soon

Dad, how can we choose a simgle story to tell from all the wonderful memories you have left me
You were such a wonderful, loving dad to us and grandpa to all the kida
I love you daddy and will miss you every day of my life.
My grandpa was a loving, kind, and patient man. He loved and lived life to the fullest. He would have given you the shirt off his back if that's what it took. He loved his farm and animals which is where I think I got my love of animals from! As a child I always looked forward to my weekends and summer vacations, and sleeping over with my grandparents, you never knew if we were going to make root beer floats, make a tent in the living room, or saddle up a horse and go on a horse ride. He bought me my first washer and dryer set when I got married and drove to Dallas to see his first great grandson. Although time has passed and some stories have left me I will always remember the wonderful grandpa you were to me, Haden, and Grace. I know your at peace and reunited with loved ones, until then when we will meet again!
I have so many wonderful memories of visiting my Uncle Darrel on the farm. When you arrived, a dozen or so dogs would surround your car. One of them was a one-eyed Dalmatian! I was too scared to open the car door until Darrel would come and get me. There were tractors and barns, lots of laughter. Family always came first.
He was the first uncle to buy a movie camera. He would show home movies when the opportunity arose. One of his movies included me performing with a hula hoop … from the neck to the ankles and back up to the neck.
My dearest memory is Uncle Darrel very tenderly shaving my father’s face a few days before he passed away. The way they looked at each other was priceless.
Good journey Uncle Darrel.
