Zandra Kaye Longnecker's Obituary
Zandra Kaye Longnecker passed away surrounded by her family Thursday, January 4, 2017. She was 19 years old. Zandra was born to Jack Longnecker and Bobbi (Dean) Longnecker in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on Friday, April 24, 1998.
Zandra loved Jesus and going to church. She was a pure spirit. She was the Sunday school teacher for the younger children at her church. Zandra enjoyed cooking, helping others, and taking care of people. She started attending OSU-IT and enrolled in the orthotics and prosthetics program. Zandra ended her first semester of college with a 4.0. She would always say "Let's go shopping at Wal Mart."
Preceding Zandra in death are her maternal grandparents Robert and Martha Dean, aunt Teresa Keesee, and uncle John Carder. Left to cherish all the of the wonderful memories of Zandra is her mother Bobbi and Daddy J.J. Meritt, father Jack Longnecker, brothers Zachary Longnecker, Noah Longnecker, and Jacob Longnecker, uncles Ervin Dean and wife Kandi, Kelly Dean and wife Carol, Mike Dean, John Rippy and wife Nikki, Zachary Carder and wife Eiko, aunt Gail Batten and husband Chris, grandmothers Jill Longnecker and Jan Mills and a host of cousins and friends.
A funeral service for Zandra will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2018 at the World Outreach Church in Okmulgee, 1111 W. 11th Street. Pastor John and Cindy Fisher will officiate the service. Interment will follow at the Wilson Salt Creek Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Casketbearers will be Zachary Longnecker, Billy Keesee, Gage Anderson, Josh Crow, Blake Griffin, and Michael Mills. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
