Curtis was a great man. I will miss you and getting to work with you on projects. The biggest project you gave me was those dang pianos but I know you love them. Rest easy Curtis you are home now.
A month and a half ago I was wondering if I was capable of making a friend and just like that, God put me and Mr. Curtis on the same patio in town. At the time I didn’t know I needed a 72 year old friend(I’m 33)but there he was. We talked about Jesus, our life journeys, the weather, music, and his secret genius. He sent me to the public library to read the Okmulgee County History book that he was so proud to be a part of. Mr. Curtis taught me how to be a part of a community again and I will forever cherish our friendship and time together.
