Wayne Skaggs' Obituary
Wayne Skaggs, age 75, passed away in Mountain Home, Arkansas on April 16, 2025. He was born on April 25, 1949, to Clarence Henry and Imogene (Hunter) Skaggs in Stidham, Oklahoma.
Wayne graduated high school and then served in the United States Army as a member of the 101st airborne during the Vietnam War.
Wayne spent many days hunting and fishing. He treasured every moment he shared with his grandsons as he taught them the skills he loved.
He is survived by his wife Carla, daughter-in-law Jamie Skaggs, stepsons Jimmy Maynard and Timothy Maynard, grandsons, Hunter Skaggs and Artcher Skaggs, sisters, Marilyn Greene of Houston, Texas, Marvena Belcher of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Carol and husband Ron Cowan of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Rita and husband Tony Benson of Atoka, Oklahoma, brother Les and wife Lisa Skaggs of Mannford, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Linda (Noble) Skaggs, son Steven Skaggs.
Funeral services for Wayne will be 1:00 PM, Friday, April 25, 2025 at Lake Eufaula Christian Church in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Viewing will be held from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
