Wanda Jean Mills' Obituary
Wanda Jean Mills died in Okmulgee on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 66 years of age. Wanda was born in Eram, Oklahoma on May 31, 1945 to Benjamin Berryhill and Rose Marie Fields.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Isabella Taylor, four brothers: Daniel Brown, Paul Eugene Johnson, Ronald Martin Berryhill, and Cecil Kent Berryhill, and two sisters: Phyllis Kay Brown and Beverly Ann Grummitt.
Wanda is survived by two children: her daughter Tonya Lynette LeGrand, and son Phillip Wiley Mills both of Morris, five grandchildren: Kelly Jean LeGrand, Laci Lynette LeGrand, Osea Wayne McCart, Paul Lee McCart and Isiah Taylor, one great grandson Michael Haney, Jr. six sisters: Geri Johnson and husband James of Okmulgee, Jessina Brown of Muskogee, Regina Ann Berryhill of Noble, Deborah Jo Bean of Lawton, Cynthia Marie Johnson of Oklahoma City, and Celia Kay Rizzo of Midwest City, seven brothers: Solomon Johnson of Okmulgee, Joseph Wayne Johnson of Okmulgee, Cy Johnson, Jr. and wife Mary of Tulsa, George Johnson and wife Tammy of Okmulgee, Bruce Allen Berryhill of Mounds, Harrison Dennis Berryhill of Oklahoma City, and Wayne Morris Berryhill of Tulsa, one Aunt Alice Freeman of Morris and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A wake service will be held for Wanda on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at the Grave Creek Indian Baptist Church in Hitchita. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at the Grave Creek Indian Cemetery.
