Wanda Louise McCord's Obituary
Wanda Louise McCord, 86 year old Beggs resident, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at her home. She was born April 7, 1932 in Tulsa to the late Gerald and Evilin (Winters) Keeter. She married Jerry Eugene McCord on November 22, 1954. Wanda was active in PTA, a volunteer in community activities and the Oklahoma Christian College as well as being a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Allen Keeter, sister, Claudette Edmiston and a son, Paul Timothy McCord. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Jerry, children, Hershel Anthony McCord, Theresa Louise McCord, Tracy Eugene McCord and Michael Thomas McCord, grandchildren, Tony Curtis McCord, Jerry Edward McCord, Jimmy Wayne (Bo) Adams, Jerrye Jocelyn Bryant, Audrey Joan Campen and Isaac Lee McCord, eleven great grandchildren, a brother, Gerald Keeter, Jr. and a sister, Marijean Hargrove.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Church of Christ in Beggs with Mr. Bill Hamrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Alec Bryant, T.C. McCord, Isaac McCord, Jimmy Wayne Adams, Shea Campen and Jerry McCord.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
