I remember growing up with Virginia when we were little girls in Henryetta, going for a long walks in the country where we lived, and excitedly sharing our new Christmas dolls on Christmas morning. We slept outside in our home made tents. Though I haven't been able to spend a lot of time with her over these past many years I will always treasure her in my heart.

My beautiful sister Virginia Goodman Claborn passed away at noon on June 27th just two days short of her 81st birthday. She has suffered from mental and physical problems for sometime and has been in and out of the hospital, rehab and was waiting a bed for Hospice. Ginny grew up in Henryetta, Oklahoma in a loving family with three brothers. She was a tomboy and could shoot marbles with the best of them, bait a fish hook and catch a fish. Throw a mean horse shoes. Work in the garden like a man. Pull a 26 foot trailer to Eufaula. We played Fireman’s Bingo at Eufaula to support the volunteer firemen. She could play four cards at once and keep up with everyone else’s cards too. Mowed 1 acre and cared diligently to her many, many cats. The last words she said to me were “I want to go home to see mama and daddy”. She was my last sibling and always introduced me as her little brother. I will miss my sweet Ginny. Graveside services are pending. Thank you for your prayers. 🙏❤️
