Virginia M. Ash's Obituary
Virginia Mae (Jones) Beesley Ash was born Thursday, July 23, 1936 in Okmulgee to the late Robert Allen and Essie Faye (Reynolds) Jones. She passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Tulsa at 84 years of age. She attended Oakdale School, graduating in 1954. Virginia enjoyed her stories (soap operas), milkshakes and collecting Coke and Denim Days memorabilia. She was known for being feisty and also very caring. She worked selling Tupperware, at the Osteopathic Hospital and managed a tanning salon, but she spent most of her life as a homemaker. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Eugene Harrison Beesley and Dannie Ash and brother-in-law, Tom Rush.
Survivors include her children, David Beesley and wife Liz of Beggs, Gina Justice and husband Jay of Glenpool and Danna Spohn and husband Jason of Littleton, Colorado, step-daughters, Diane Titsworth and husband James of Okmulgee and Kathy Dawson and husband Ron of Lawton, grandchildren, Levi Heller, Derek Beesley, Wyatt Justice and wife Lisa, Ashlyn Beesley, Hannah Beesley, Ryder Spohn and Stella Spohn, great grandchildren, Wade Justice and Walker Justice, a brother, Robert Jones and wife Norma of Mounds, a sister, LaVena Rush of Henryetta and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to visit the funeral home for a time of remembrance on Monday from 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. and Tuesday 9:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. A funeral service for the immediate family will be held Wednesday followed by interment in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Derek Beesley, Ashlyn Beesley, Hannah Beesley, Ryder Spohn, Robert Jones, Jr., Wyatt Justice and Jay Justice.
