Una Merl Aldridge's Obituary
Una Merl Aldridge, a longtime resident of Beggs, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in Tulsa. She was born to the late Clarence Butler and Merl (Stockton) Butler on June 3, 1934. She married the love of her life William Aldridge on April 8, 1955. They spent over 64 years together before his passing in 2019. Una enjoyed cooking for the school and baking for the First Assembly of God Church in Beggs.
Una is preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter Polly Aldridge-Ewing, and grandson Jeremy Aldridge. Those left to cherish all the wonderful memories are her children Patti Messimore and husband Harry and William Everett Aldridge, Jr., grandchildren Karrie (Aldridge) Raby and husband Matthew, Jason Aldridge, Kendra Aldridge, and Kyle Aldridge, great grandchildren Jackson Hampton, Valley Raby, Natalie Raby, Nolan O'Brien, and Maddie O'Brien.
A Funeral Service for Una will be held 2:00 pm Friday, July 16, 2021 at the First Assembly of God in Beggs with Reverend Robert Yandell officiating. Interment will follow at the Beggs Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm.
