Trey Lynn Holmes' Obituary
Trey Lynn Holmes was born January 22, 1999 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He passed away January 12, 2022 at the age of twenty two.
Trey enjoyed anything outdoors, including the river, fishing, hunting, four wheeling and his dogs. He loved music and hated wearing shoes.
Trey will be remembered for the love he had for his family, especially his nieces.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Marsha (McBee) Pope, paternal grandmother, Karen Holmes, and dear friend and cousin Ronald “Bubba” Chandler.
Survivors include his mother Jody Quiroz and Step-father Silviano Ortega, father, Larry Holmes, Jr., three brothers, Joey Gilbert, Larry Holmes III, and Legend Holmes, a sister, Kristyle Wright, aunt, Vivian McCutchen and husband Matt, a cousin, Kane Sanchez, nieces, Savannah, Eternity, and Eleah Gilbert, paternal grandfather, Larry Holmes, Sr., paternal great grandmother, Viola Coyote, his uncle Daniel Sanchez and best friend Demetrius Coleman and many great aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 17, 2022 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dale Litsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Legend Holmes, Kane Sanchez, Joey Gilbert, Andrew Emerson, Cherokee Duncan, Daniel Sanchez, Jimmy Lee Grummitt and Demetrius Coleman. Honorary casket bearers will be Larry Holmes III, Silviano Ortega and Ronald Chandler.
