Thomas Patterson's Obituary
Thomas Michael Patterson, 76, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on September 10, 1949, to Woodrow Patterson and Mary Ann (Schalski) Davis.
Thomas was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend who will be remembered by the many family members whose lives he touched. He shared strong bonds with his siblings and extended family, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Thomas served in the Vietnam War under the 101st Airborne division (Screaming Eagles) from 1969 to 1971.
He was preceded in death by many siblings: Bobby Patterson, Sue Farned, Cathy Patterson, Gary Tolbert, James Patterson, Mary Johnson, Johnnie “Big John” Patterson, Luther Patterson, and Chester Patterson. He was also preceded in death by his nephews, Thomas Bullard and John David Patterson.
Thomas is survived by his brother-in-law, Dale Farned; sisters-in-law, Joyce Patterson and Annie Patterson; his siblings, Brian Patterson and wife Sue, Joyce Laverty and husband Bill, and Melody Cunningham and husband Randy. He also leaves behind his loyal dog, Trigger, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Interment will take place at the Okmulgee Cemetery following the service.
