Steven Scott Thomas' Obituary
Steven Scott Thomas, 61 year old Beggs resident, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at his home. He was born January 11, 1956 in Tulsa to Clarence Alan Thomas and Doris Jean (Lauer) Thomas. He married Janet Sue Shulanberger on July 14, 1975 in Bixby. Steven owned and operated a construction company. He was a man of faith and had attended the Cowboy Church. He was preceded in death by his father, wife and daughter, Jody Thomas. Survivors include his children, Shelly Thomas Clay and Marvin Thomas, mother, Doris Thomas, brothers, Mike Thomas, Paul Thomas and Marvin Thomas, grandchildren, Josalyn Thomas, Sean Clay, Trey Thomas, Garrett Burch, Wyatt Thomas, and Clara Burch, step-grandchildren, Madison Clay, Nicole Richardson, Mikayla Clay and Kasey Clay.
Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the Angus Church in Sand Springs with Brother Lum Newberry officiating. A committal service will be held 2:00 P.M. at the Hitchita-Lackey Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Kasey Clay, Sean Clay, Trey Thomas, Garrett Burch, Wyatt Thomas, John Wayne Kirk and Clara Burch.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
