Sherry Lynn Guffey's Obituary
Sherry Lynn Guffey died in Tulsa on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 51 years of age. She was born September 10, 1961 in Dallas, Texas. Sherry loved to cook and had a big heart for helping others. Her home was always open to anyone with a need.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Guffey, her mother Peggy (Thomas) Lyda and her grandparents. Sherry is survived by two sisters: Cindy Brown of Morris and Tara Allen and husband Jeff of Okmulgee, niece Meredith Lyda, two nephews: Skyler Allen and Quintin Allen and two children who were especially close to her: Blaise Felix and Jaden Felix. She is also survived by her dog Barksdale and a host of other friends and relatives.
A funeral service for Sherry will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery.
