Sam Walton Cummins' Obituary
Sam Walton Cummins was born on Friday, March 5, 1945 in Canyon, Texas. He died in Beggs on Monday, January 8, 2018. He was 74 years old. Sam was born to Aaron and Pauline (Spencer) Cummins. He proudly serviced in the United State Army from 1967 Until 1969. He married Donna (Eldredge) Cummins in 1978. They moved to Beggs in 1987. Sam loved going camping and fishing with Donna. He worked for Beggs Public Schools for twenty years. Sam was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church.
Preceding Sam in death are his parents, grandparents, and wife Donna. Left to cherish all of the great memories of Sam is his daughter Patricia Murphy and husband Frank of Texas, grandson Cooper Crow, granddaughter Tara Crow, brothers John Cummins, Dick Cummins and wife Judy, sisters Mary and Pollyanna Cummins all of Texas, niece April Nolan and husband Steve, nephew Aaron Cummins and wife Laura, great nephew Caleb, Walton. John, and David, great niece Audrey, Julie, and Kaitlyn.
A Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 the at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Brayden Buss officiating. Friends may visit the Beggs funeral home on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the ALPHA program at the Beggs School and the Crossroads Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
