A Memorial Service for Robert Dale Belter, 73, of Okmulgee, OK will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in the Gym Dining Hall at 2:00pm. Monday, November 22, 2021, with Pastor Dwayne Henley Officiating. He met his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
Robert Dale Belter was born on April 27, 1948 in Altus, OK to Herbert and Lydia Belter. On July 17, 1970 he married his wife of 51 years, Carol Milroy in Okmulgee, OK. He graduated from Altus High School in 1966. He was a graduate of Oklahoma State Tech, Okmulgee and went on to teach Manufacturing Technology there until his retirement after 25 years. He served in the United States Army National Guard. He was a husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a passion for classic cars and trucks.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Carol Belter; nieces Babbette Walker, her husband Billy and family, and Christian Barnes; Nephews: Herbert "Junior" Belter, Shawn Bethany and wife Feather, Jason Bethany and niece Carol Nededog; numerous great nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends; and his dogs that he loved dearly: Little Britches, Maggie Mae, and Pepper.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.
