Rita Jean Schlather's Obituary
Rita Jean Schlather, a longtime resident of Okmulgee, gained her heavenly wings January 12, 2024. She was the wife of the late Jim Schlather and the loving mother of Jamie Schlather of Tulsa and Suzanne Wise of Okmulgee.
Rita was born in Kensington, Pennsylvania on November 25, 1931. In her childhood she moved to the Okmulgee area in 1947 where she attended and graduated at St. Anthony Catholic School of Okmulgee in 1949.
She was employed at M & D Star Drug of Okmulgee, where she served as a proud and dedicated employee for more than 50 years.
Memorial services for Rita will be announced at a later date.
