Rita May Branson's Obituary
Rita May Branson, long time resident of Beggs, Oklahoma passed away at home on Tuesday, December 14 at the age of 86. Rita was born on September 25, 1935 in rural Jasper, Missouri to Andrew Vonier and Bess Dunlop. She is survived by three sons Barry Branson and his wife Cindy of Sperry, Oklahoma; Jack Branson of Beggs, Oklahoma; John Branson and his wife Carrie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two daughter-in-laws, Jenny Branson of Beggs, Oklahoma and Kathy Branson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 20 grand children, 19 great grand children and 3 great great grand children numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Branson, four children Loretta Branson, Howard Branson, Richard Branson and Arthur Branson; one son-in-law Mike Whittenburg; her parents, Andrew and Bess Vonier, a Step-Mother Dorthy Vonier, five brothers Rex Vonier, Arlo Vonier, Maurice Vonier, Howard Vonier and Jerry Vonier; two Sisters Betty Lou Buxton and Lois Ross; and one step-sister Maurine Vonier.
Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Crossroads Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery.
