Retha Laffoon's Obituary
Retha Mae Laffoon passed from this life on October 20, 2019. She was born November 14, 1938 to Hazel and Clarence Laffoon. She lived most of her days in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her parents.
Retha worked as an aide at Sunnyside for many years and was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church. She was a very caring individual who loved Jesus and together they overcame many obstacles in her lifetime.
Above all, she enjoyed spending time with family members. Retha will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her sister, Treva June.
The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. TO 8 P.M. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee. A funeral service will be held at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee, Friday, October 25, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Josh Longnecker and Reverend Allen Lewis officiating. Casketbearers will be Josh Newcomb, Frank Jobe, Corky Culbert, Roy Bailey, Jack Newcomb, and Ed Culbert. Interment will follow at the Beggs Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
