Phillip Noland's Obituary
Phillip A. Noland passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at his Beggs home surrounded by family at the age of 79. He was born January 30, 1935 in Kings Mill, Texas to Benjamin Earl and Inez Mae (Atchley) Noland. Phillip married Thelma J. Smith on September 2, 1951 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. He retired as a Master Chief in the U.S. Navy after 32 years of service. Phillip enjoyed working as a silversmith and saddle making as a hobby. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Earl Noland, mother, Inez Mae Evans, and a brother, William Noland. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Thelma Noland, two sons, Ted D. Noland and wife Karen and their sons, Phillip and Ian and Phillip Wayne Noland and wife Tara and a brother, Charles Ramon Noland and wife Jan. A Service to Celebrate Phillip’s life will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Beggs with his son, Ted Noland, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice. Arrangements and cremation services are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
