Paul Edward Lackey, Jr.'s Obituary
Paul Edward Lackey died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the age of 64. He was born in De Ridder, Louisiana on April 6, 1947 to Hazel (Chitty) and Paul Edward Lackey, Sr. Paul was a veteran of the United States Navy and a longtime member and supporter of the VFW in Texas and in Oklahoma. He was a longtime motorcycle enthusiast. He loved working with his hands and was an excellent mechanic.
His parents, an Uncle Dan Lackey and Aunt Juanita Lackey, preceded him in death.
Paul is survived by three children: daughter Honey Melissa Wampler, daughter Jennifer Erin Lackey, son Paul Daniel Lackey all of Texas, two grandchildren: Rachel Wampler and Christopher Wampler, sister Deborah Lackey and brother Michael Lackey both of Vann, Texas, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
A committal service honoring Paul will be held at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Online condolences may be sent to www.mcclendon-winters.com
