Paul Masters Arnold, Jr.'s Obituary
Paul Masters Arnold, Jr. died in Tulsa on July 24, 2014 at 65 years of age. Paul was born on October 13, 1948 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Paul Masters and Doris Luretta (Reiser) Arnold. On April 25, 1986 in Turley, Oklahoma he married Sherry Diane Bryant. Paul was a veteran of the United States National Guard. He was very inspiring to young people. He loved tinkering with things and teaching his grandkids to do the same. He also enjoyed teaching his grandkids about political issues. He was the Pastor of the Church of Christ in Morris and was very involved with the Morris Community. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the community.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Clyde Imogene Bryant, He is survived by his wife Sherry, his three daughters: Jennifer Ruth Howell, Holly Pritchard and husband Kevin and Heather B. Longan, ten grandchildren: Brandon Lee Howell and wife Devocha, Bailey Paul Howell, Richard Blake Howell, Emilee Faith Wright, Wyatt Robert Simmons, Brooklynn Anne Pritchard, Mariah Paige Longan, Dalton Keith Longan, Jaxon Brodrick Longan and Taya Brenee Longan, one great grandchild: Abbigail Beth Howell, his parents Paul and Doris Arnold, one brother: Denjie Arnold and wife Wandah and three sisters: Margaret "Maggie" Wallace, Ruth Startz and Drenay Bain and husband Ron.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of Christ in Morris with Reverend Darrin Ballard officiating. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Friends may view Paul at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee on Sunday from 1:00 – 6:00 PM with the family present to greet guests from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. The family request memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
