Patricia "Trixie" Green's Obituary
Patricia "Trixie" Green, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in Okmulgee at eighty-two years of age. She was born April 27, 1942 in Hanna, Oklahoma. Trixie married Joseph Otis Green on June 3, 1960 in Okmulgee. She resided in Oklahoma, Texas, California, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines. Her and "J.O." enjoyed traveling abroad. She enjoyed making ceramics and making crafts with her best friend MaryLois. She loved to make desserts, however she was not a big fan of doing the dishes.
Trixie is preceded in death by her husband, "J.O." Green; parents, Martha Marvine (Nunn) and Lester B Lee; two siblings, Norma Wheat and Bobby Lee; and her niece, Tricia Reed.
She is survived by two brothers, Dwayne Lee and wife Suzy of Okmulgee and David Lee and wife Berni of Tyler, Texas; brother-in-law DelRoy Wheat, her nephews, Mike Lee of Tyler, Texas, Greg Lee of Lubbock, Texas, Jamie Lee of Okmulgee, and Chris Wheat of Plano, Texas; and nieces, Lori Romero of New Iberia, Louisiana, Tina Dagley of Okmulgee, and Tarie Armstrong of Palmer, Texas.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 21, 2025 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mickey Baldwin officiating. Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery.
