Neives Elmo Vivar's Obituary
Neives Elmo Vivar, Jr. 89, a resident of Yukon, Ok, and past resident of Okmulgee died in Oklahoma City, Ok on Saturday, March 23, 2013. He as born in Okmulgee on October 7, 1923 to Neives Elmo and Georgia Vivar Sr. He graduated from Okmulgee High School and then was in the Army Air Corp. He later returned to Okmulgee and worked at the Sno-White and Meadow View Daries and then worked and retired from the Okmulgee Refinery. He was a member and a past Deacon of the Grand Avenue Church of Christ. N. E. was preceded in death by his parents, and wife of 66 years Betty Vivar.
Survivors include his Daughter, Terry Maples of Burleson, TX, a son Randel Elmo Vivar of Yukon, OK, three grandchildren Michael Maples, Connie Alexander, Jennifer Vivar, two great grandchildren Ryann Nicole Mercer and Kinlee Alexander and five sisters Anita Carter of Okmulgee, Louise Jeffry of Henryetta, Betty Kay of Shawnee, regina McAlister of Lawton and Joyce Stone of McAlister.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Okmulgee Cemetery, under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee. There will be no viewing. Condolences may be made at mcclendon-winters.com.
