Miles Delano White's Obituary
Miles Delano White, longtime Okmulgee resident, passed away Wednesday morning, January 13, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa at the age of 82. Miles was born March 9, 1933 in Paden, Oklahoma to Odus and Dona White. He was raised in the Morris area and served his country in the U.S. Army. He managed Anchor Loan for 19 years and later worked as Vice President of First Bank in Tulsa. Miles then worked for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services as a Social Worker for 20 years, serving the area nursing homes. He retired in 1995. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morris. Miles was preceded in death by his father, Odus White and mother, Dona Washington. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Barbara White, four sons, Nick Muzljakovich, Steve Muzljakovich, Jeff Muzljakovich and Ken White, a daughter, Brenda Wilson, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 15, 2016 at the First Baptist Chuirch in Morris with Reverend Ray Moffeit officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
