Michael Anthony Salata's Obituary
Michael Anthony Salata died in Tulsa on October 16, 2009. He was eleven days old. Michael was born in Tulsa on October 5, 2009 to Rachel Michele (Sadler) Mears and Michael Joseph Salata. Though his life was short, it was long enough to steal our hearts forever. He will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his parents, Rachel and Michael of Bixby, a brother Dillon Mears and a sister Brittany Mears, both of the home. His maternal grandparents Barbara Salyer of Okmulgee, Mike Sadler and wife Linda of Beggs, paternal grandparents Michael and Helen Salata of Connecticut, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive Michael.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the St. Anthony Catholic Church. Father Benjamin Vima and Reverend Dave Long will officiate. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Visitation will be at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
