Michael "Bobby" Robert Howell's Obituary
Michael Robert “Bobby” Howell was born Tuesday, June 3, 1969 in Okmulgee and passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 in Okmulgee at 49 years of age. Bobby graduated from Wilson High School in 1988 and attended OSU-IT. He married Cindi Drye on August 24, 1990 in Okmulgee. Bobby worked at Lowe’s in Bixby. He loved being a hobby farmer and taking care of his animals. He was an avid OSU fan and enjoyed reading and drawing. Bobby was a member of the First Baptist Church in Okmulgee.
Bobby was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elton and Jean Fraser, paternal grandparents, Virgil and Viola Howell, brother, Russell Howell and step-mother, Martha Howell.
Survivors include his wife, Cindi of the home, children, Matthew Howell of Stillwater and Erin Howell of the home, mother, Judy (Fraser) Henson and husband David of Okmulgee, father, Boyd Howell of Okmulgee, brother, Shawn Howell of Okmulgee, sisters, Holly (Henson) Pritchard and Heather (Henson) Longan, both of Okmulgee, many nieces and nephews and his beloved horse, Chilly.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis Taylor officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Bobby’s memory to the Okmulgee Humane Society.
