Maxine Eunice Biby's Obituary
Maxine Eunice Reynolds Biby, dedicated public servant and loving matriarch, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, surrounded by loved ones and happy memories. She was born February 2, 1930 in Boynton, Oklahoma to John K. “Jake” Reynolds and Leota (Keehn) Reynolds. Maxine graduated from Morris High School in 1948. She married Richard Biby on August 15, 1947 in the Morris Methodist Parsonage. As a teenager, she worked as a popcorn popper at the Star Theatre in Morris.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Garland “Bud” Reynolds.
Survivors include a son, Richard Biby and wife Barbara, of Broken Arrow, daughters, Cynthia Biby-Wallace and husband Roy Wallace of Tulsa and Marci Hawkins and husband Tim of Broken Arrow, grandchildren, Christopher Wallace of Tulsa, Jason Haldeman and wife Lisa of Broken Arrow, Laurie Biby and David Williams of Broken Arrow, Richard Andrew Biby and wife Niki of Riverton, Wyoming, Emily Hawkins of Tulsa, and Robyn Fortino and husband Frank of Broken Arrow, great grandchildren, Ethan Haldeman, Kaitlyn Duvall, Taylor Wallace, Nicole Wallace, Gabriel Fortino, and Dominick Fortino, sisters, Edith Vance of Lafayette, Louisiana, Stella Davis and husband Charles of Morris, and June Parker and husband Charley of Morris, a brother, David Reynolds and wife Mary Jane of Morris and a multitude of loving nieces, nephews and honorary family members.
Her funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the First Christian Church of Morris with Pastors Tim Craighton and Robert Frost officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery Chapel. Casketbearers will be Nicholas Burks, Frank Wayne Wilson, Gregg Griffin, Chris Moyer, Sean Batschelett, and Scott Batschelett. Honorary casket bearers will be Mike Burnside and Joe David Reynolds. Friends may visit the funeral home in Morris on Monday from 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and the family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
