Mary Ann Gritts' Obituary
Mary Ann Reed-Gritts, 86, of Okmulgee, died Saturday, July 11, 2020 in Tahlequah. She was born May 7, 1934 in Claremore to the late Rocky Roy and Doshie (West) Troglin. She graduated from Claremore High School. Mary Ann married Floyd Reed, Sr. in Claremore in 1951. She worked for many years at the Okmulgee Cemetery as the office manager and she enjoyed reading.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her sister, Doshie Chandler.
Survivors include her son, Floyd Reed, Jr. and wife Connie, a grandson, Floyd Reed III, a granddaughter, Kaci Johnson and four great grandchildren.
In following Mary Ann’s wishes, interment was held Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in the Westlawn Cemetery of Claremore.
The family will gather at the Claremore Lake for a time of remembrance at 11:00A.M. The gathering will be held at Pavilion #1 (Reed). Enter the lake off Blue Star and follow the main road (north) to the pavilion on the right. There will be hotdogs and 7UP!
