Loyce Jean Ledbetter's Obituary
Loyce Jean Ledbetter, a resident of Morris, passed away Tuesday morning, November 8, 2016 at Highland Park Manor. She was 72 years of age. Loyce was born June 19, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Paul Eugene and Florence Juanita (Elias) Walker. She married Ernest W. Ledbetter on October 1, 1962 in Okmulgee. Loyce worked for many years at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed shopping and the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest W. Ledbetter, of the home, two sons, Mark Wayne Ledbetter of Preston and James Matthew Ledbetter of Morris, a sister, Barbara Ehrman of Okmulgee, a brother, Daniel Walker of Okmulgee, grandchildren, Zachary Ledbetter, Lacey Ledbetter Williams, James Scott Ledbetter and Liam Fletcher, brother-in-law, James Randy Ledbetter of Oklahoma City and her nephews, Danny Eugene Brewer of Okmulgee, Gregory Scott Brewer of Atlanta, Georgia and Willis Paul Brewer of Okmulgee.
Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and the family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Reverend Robert Christian officiating. Casketbearers will be Chris Ledbetter, Zachary Ledbetter, Chad Ledbetter, Danny Brewer, Paul Brewer and Matt Williams. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2448 E. 81st Street Suite 3000, Tulsa, OK 74137. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
