Louise Gladys Whitley's Obituary
Louise "Mema" Gladys Whitley, was born July 19, 1952 in Vancouver, Canada . She passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 in Okmulgee at the age of 62. Louise moved to the United States in 1960 and became a citizen on July 25, 1984. She worked for many years as a department supervisor at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and quilting .
Louise is proceeded in death by two sons, Richard Lee Whitley and Harry John Whitley and sister-in-law Ann Nelson .
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charlie Whitley IV and Kerry of Morris, grandsons, Matthew and wife Venisha Whitley of Benton, Kansas, Charles Whitley V, Justin Whitley and Cody Whitley, all of Morris, granddaughters, Haylee and Emilee Whitley of Benton, Kansas, sister, April and husband Mike Nairne of Ontario, Canada, sister and brother-in-laws, Audrey and Roger Roberts of Bulverde, Texas, and Char and Jim Ryan of Spring Branch, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Louise's life will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Martin officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home Friday from 12 P.M.- 5:00 P.M. and Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
