Linda Gail Flake's Obituary
Linda Gail Flake, a resident of Okmulgee, died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Frances Streitel Nursing Center in Collinsville. She was 65 years of age. Linda was born May 13, 1947 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Robert A. and Jimmie (Knight) Wright. In the early 1980’s, Linda returned to school to become a cosmetologist and worked at the Beauty Barn in Beggs. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and needle-point. Linda was a member of the Calvery Baptist Church in Okmulgee. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wright, mother, Jimmie Taylor, a brother, Robert Wright, step father, Seth Taylor, Sr. and step-brother, Seth Taylor, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Jamie Braley and husband Larry of Talala, Oklahoma, sons, John Flake of Okmulgee and Robert Flake and wife Sheryl of Sand Springs, and her grandchildren, Shelby and Spencer Braley and Jacob and Logan Flake.
