Lewis Alvin Watts' Obituary
Lewis Alvin Watts, a resident of Okmulgee passed away on February 2, 2018 at the age of 70 years 9 months and 12 days in Okmulgee. He was born to Berlin Watts and Juanita Allred on April 4, 1947, the third child of four. Lewis graduated from Morris High School in 1966. He worked as a Morris Policeman, at the Henryetta Hospital, and Ball Brother's Corp. until it shutdown. He then remodeled homes and worked in real-estate. Lewis served his country for four years in the U.S. Army and did a tour in Vietnam for one year. He was married to Linda Gray of Okmulgee for 32 years. They made their home in Morris before returning back to Okmulgee with their children, the late Leslie Pinneo, Samantha Thorman, David Merriman, and Seth Merriman.
He was preceded in death by his parents Berlin and Juanita Watts, and brother Dave Elis Watts. Lewis is leaving behind his beloved wife Linda, family, two sisters, Ada Thompson and husband Herman of Okmulgee and Alice Andrews and husband Dewight Anderson of Texas, nieces, nephews, and friends that he loved a lot. Funeral service for Lewis will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Morris Cemetery Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
