Lesley Marie Frank's Obituary
Lesley Marie Frank was called home early Sunday morning, May 17, 2020. Lesley was
born June 26, 1974 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Roy and Allene Starr.
Lesley was preceded in death by her father, Roy Starr; her daughter, Alyssa Frank;
grandmothers, Lena Starr and Esther Rednose-Starr; and grandfather, Eli Starr.
Lesley is survived by her husband, Warren Frank of the home; her three children Jalen
Frank of Okmulgee, OK; Mykalia Frank and Logan Frank of the home; her
granddaughter, Alanna Johnson-Frank of Okmulgee, OK; and her mother, Allene Starr
of Okmulgee, OK.
Lesley attend and graduated from Graham High School in 1992;
Lesley married Warren Kyle Frank on December 4, 1993 at Yardeka Indian Baptist
Church. Lesley worked with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation for many years, her last
occupation was a Data Entry Clerk with the Johnson O’Malley Program.
Lesley loved traveling and cooking out with family and friends. Some of Lesley’s
hobbies included playing volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, baking, game nights, and
floating the river. She also enjoyed watching her favorite tv show “Friends”.
The wake service will be held at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home on Tuesday,
May 20th from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. in Okmulgee, OK.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May, 20, 2020 at the Yardeka
Indian Baptist Church with Reverend Mitchell Taylor and William Wind officiating.
Interment will follow in the Yardeka Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Starr, Mark
Kerby, Victor Rivas, Brent Bruner, Forrest Gresham and Reid Young. Honorary
pallbearers will be John Billie and Michel Laudermilk.
Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
