Lee Roy Perkins, Sr.'s Obituary
Lee Roy Perkins Sr. was born June 6, 1939, in Beggs, OK. He passed away at home in Bixby, OK on October 3, 2023. He grew up serving the Lord at the Church of God and continued to serve the Lord throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Josie Perkins, His wife Patsy Perkins, and his children Lee Roy Perkins Jr., Teresa Perkins, LaQueta Perkins, and Tonja Perkins. Brothers and sisters Juanita, Francis, Ernest Jr., Pauline, Franklin, Thelma, Dorothy, Alta, Barton, and Udell.
He is survived by his brother Elmer, sisters Loretta and June, and his children Shannon Perkins and Jennifer Slocum, of Prue OK, Missy Rowden of Van Buren AR, Brandy and Anthony Shelton of Bixby, OK, and Wallace Cherry of Mountain Burg, AR.
He had many nieces and nephews, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing and visitation will be from 1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023, with John Bergesen officiating at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Beggs, OK. Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be grandsons; Skyler Shelton, Jacob Shelton, Lee Perkins, Audie Perkins, Zach Perkins, Mathew Bergesen, Christopher Perkins and Kenni Wefer.
