Justin Douglas Snelson, I's Obituary
Justin Douglas "Renegade" Snelson, I, a 54 year old resident of Okmulgee County, died Saturday, September 29, 2018. He was born Friday, November 8, 1963, in Okmulgee to Robert and Bernice (Booker) Snelson. Justin attended Dewar High School and was graduate of the class of 1981. He later attended the Plumbing Certification Program at OSU Okmulgee. Justin was a member of the Ironworkers Local 584. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and riding motorcycles. He loved life and lived each day to the fullest. "Renegade" was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with his co-workers both on and off the job.
Justin is survived by his parents Bernice and Bob Snelson, brother, Tracy Snelson and wife Michelle, sister, Denise Gray and husband Rodney, daughters, Tamra and Jessica Snelson, sons, Justin, JD, and Taylor Snelson, and grandchildren Shyan Snelson, Gracie Ringgold, Preslea Drake, Rayge Ross, and Ember Snelson.
Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 8:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Jones officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
