June Hogue's Obituary
Margaret "June" (Foster) Hogue was born September 11, 1955 to Billy and Margaret (Smith) Foster. She passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa.
June was born and raised in Morris, OK, and graduated from Morris High School in 1973. She was one of five women who call themselves "Gals of 73". June has worked in the health care system at St John's for over 45 years. June was referred to as a "ray of sunshine" in her office, always having a smile on her face. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Morris, OK. June was a prolific baker, her specialties were banana nut bread and rum cake. She enjoyed the outdoors, she was a master gardener, and her passion was flowers. June was also known for her love of giving gifts. She hardly ever missed playing cards on Saturday evenings at the Morris Methodist Church.
June is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her three children, daughter Rachel Langley and husband Eddie of Morris, OK, daughter Rebekah Hogue and significant other Kit Johnson of Sapulpa, OK, and son John Bowers and wife Kasey of Morris, OK, sister Rebecca Johnson of Morris, OK, brother Billy Foster and wife Rosa of Claremore, OK, grandchildren Josh Ashlock, Katey Tramble, Emily and Natalie Landsberry, Tyler Wood, Grace Hogue and great grandchildren Bryar Ashlock, Kinsleigh Grandstaff , and Anna Tramble.
Funeral services for June will be held at 2:30 pm Friday, October 4, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church of Morris with Reverend Gary McKeen officiating. Interment will follow at the Morris Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm, with the family present from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
