Juliene Mae Stone's Obituary
Juliene Mae (Thomas) Stone was born November 14, 1944 and transitioned this life November 2, 2020.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Josephine (Hardridge) Thomas, Grandson Thomas J. Stone, Dover PA.
Juliene is survived by son Rob Stone and wife Nancy of Dover PA., daughter Suzanne Shields and Jeff Warnock of Okmulgee, OK., daughter Dianne Jones and husband and Tom of Rancho Cordova, CA., grandchildren Jon and Leah Stone of York, PA., Olen Stone of Okmulgee OK., Alison Shields of Cheney, WA., Dylan Jones of Rancho Cordova, CA., Alex Gilmore of Okmulgee OK., two great- granddaughters Vaella Stone of Dover, PA., Lilly Stone of Abbottstown,PA. She is also survived by Skipper and Mitsy, her constant companions.
Juliene attended Okmulgee schools and graduated in 1962. She attended Oklahoma State University majoring in Art.
She was a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, a member of the First Baptist Church of Okmulgee, Oklahoma State Real Estate Association and Delta Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi where she served as President and "Girl of the Year"
Juliene served as Election Board Secretary of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation for nineteen years where she helped implement and update tribal election laws. She was a real estate agent and also was co-owner of several local businesses.
She served her community through her many volunteer efforts with local non-profits. C.R.E.O.K.S. was her last to volunteer where she served on the Board of Directors for many years.
She had a great love for nature and all animals (except snakes). She loved thunderstorms, the smell of rain, the sounds of tree frogs and locust in the summer, Oklahoma State University "Go Pokes" and slot machines. Her greatest love was her family.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
